On March 05, 2014 the third Peer-to-Peer Exchange Webinar, Urban Consolidation Centers: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly-The Japanese Experience, was held. This webinar highlighted the best practices of Urban Consolidation Centers (UCC) in Japan, focusing on the success factors of UCC in terms of the public-private partnerships; participation of stakeholders; leaderships of leading organizations; the role of municipalities and government; financial aspects, the business models; and the collaboration with regional developers. Professor Eiichi Taniguchi and Dr. Ali G. Qureshi from Kyoto University led the discussion.
