Lessons from the Off-Hour Delivery Program in New York City

On August 15, 2013 the inaugural Peer-to-Peer Exchange Webinar, Lessons from the Off-Hour Delivery Program in New York City, was held.  This webinar highlighted the innovative project that seeks to increase off-hour deliveries and to decrease congestion, make the movement of goods more reliable, increase urban livability, and provide a better business environment.  Ms. Stacey Hodge, the Director of New York City Department of Transportation’s Office of Freight Mobility, and Dr. Jose Holguin-Veras the Director of the CoE-SUFS, led the discussion, with introductory remarks from Mr. Tom Maguire, the Assistant Commissioner at NYCDOT.
