Page Title Goes Here
This “Inner Section” (within the blue border) contains a single full-width Column (within the red border). This Inner Section can be Duplicated using the Navigator to create an identical Inner Section beneath it. To Duplicate an Inner Section, right-click on it within the Navigator menu. To then move an Inner Section, or any other widget such as a “Text Editor” or “Spacer”, simply drag it within the Navigator menu.
Additional widgets can be dropped into a Column as needed. For example, a Spacer of 20px has been added below this Text Editor (which is surrounded by the green border). It’s also worth noting that all of the Text Editors on this page have a Padding of 10px, and this setting can be found under the “Advanced” tab for each Text Editor.
Spacers that are 20px in size work well to separate the sections, while 50px Spacers can be used for a more noticeable separation. For example, 20px Spacers are used throughout this page, except at the bottom, where the 50px Spacer is used to create a more pronounced distinction between the end of the content and the start of the footer.
The borders are used here to not only show the structure of the page but also to illustrate how sometimes it takes some digging to achieve the desired formatting. In this case, the blue border surrounding the Inner Section and the red border surrounding the Column are both found under “Style > Border”, while the green border around the Text Editor is found under “Advanced > Border”.
This Inner Section contains 2 Columns instead of 1, and each of these Columns has a grey border, though there are no borders around either the Inner Section or the Text Editors.
The Column on the right has an additional Margin of 10px to illustrate the importance of having consistent settings within Elementor due to its nested structure.
The thin black border around the Inner Section below again shows the size of a 20px Spacer.
If there were no border around this Column, then the only way to find out where the extra whitespace is coming from would be to check all of the Padding and Margin settings for the Text Editor, the Column, and the Inner Section. The extra whitespace could be due to a combination of multiple settings, and the only way to find out would be to check them all.
